Why Did God Create Adam and Eve Knowing They Would Rebel?

Question: “Why did God create Adam and Eve when He knew they would rebel against what He told them?”

Bible Answer

God knew that Adam and Eve would sin against Him in the Garden of Eden, but without the opportunity of sin, as presented by Satan, they would never have had a free will choice to be holy or to reject God.  The sin that Adam and Eve introduced into the world provided an opportunity for God to demonstrate His great love and mercy for us by providing a way of paying the punishment we deserve for our sins, through the blood of Jesus.

Making a choice for God and walking with the Lord in obedience permits God to create a pure people to spend eternity with Him in heaven.
