Appearance of evil verses
Asking in Prayer
Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy (Romans 13:13).
Abstain from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death (Revelation 21:8).
Envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21).
But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one (1 Corinthians 5:11).
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own (1 Corinthians 6:19).
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).
So that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one (1 Thessalonians 4:12).
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).
The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good (Romans 12:9).
For we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man (2 Corinthians 8:21).
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband (1 Corinthians 7:2).
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come (John 16:13).
Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise (Proverbs 20:1).
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar made from wine or strong drink and shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried (Numbers 6:3).
Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done (Revelation 22:12).
