Betrayal verses

Asking in Prayer

Even my closest friend whom I trusted, the one who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me (Ps. 41:9).

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape (Proverbs 19:5).

I would be able to take it if one who hates me were putting me to shame. I could hide from him. It is not one who hates me who has put himself up against me. But it is you, a man like myself, one who has gone with me, my close friend (Psalm 55:12-13).

My close friends detest me. Those I loved have turned against me (Job 19:19).

My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me. My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me (Job 19:13-14).

Instead, take up the matter with your neighbor, and don’t betray another person’s confidence. Otherwise, anyone who hears will make you ashamed, and your bad reputation will never leave you (Proverbs 25:9-10).

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses (Mark 11:25).

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:14-15).

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss” (Luke 22:48)?

I can do all things through him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
