Asking in Prayer
The seed of the righteous shall be delivered (Proverbs 11:21).
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind (James 1:6).
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1).
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him (Proverbs 22:15).
The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother (Proverbs 29:15).
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer (Romans 12:12).
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
