When is the end-
Question: “I have heard of a great end-
Is there an end-
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains (Matthew 24:3-
But has there ever been a period in the world’s history when these indicators where not threatening or existed?
Many world events could have been interpreted at that time as the end-
Do we know when the end-

The point is that we should not be concerned about when the end-
Is there a great harvest and when might it occur?
The first clear indication of a great harvest occurs when Jesus brings His own to Himself. Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped (Revelation 14:14-
A second great harvest follows in which those who refused Jesus’ offer were gathered for eternal punishment. Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia (Revelation 14:17-
In John 15: 1-
The separating of the righteous from the evil in the above passages of Revelation 14 is similar to the separating of the good fish from the bad fish in Matthew 13:47-
During the seven year tribulation, God will be bringing great numbers to Himself through 144,000 servants He will called to spread the gospel (Rev. 7:1-
While it appears that the last great harvest will occur at the end of the seven year tribulation, some maintain that the great harvest will occur at the end of the millennium, removing all evil, and establishing God’s Kingdom.
And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Rev 20:7-
While many, including your author, hope for a great harvest before the Tribulation, and while there is scripture that talks of numbers and multitudes, there is little scripture to offer assurance of a great harvest before the Tribulation. But clearly there will be a great harvest at the end of the Tribulation and possibly at the end of the millennium. But, let us remember today, that God is working full-
