How does God see me?
Question: “How does God see me? What is God’s perception of me?”
In the beginning, God created man to have a special relationship, a loving relationship with Him. He created man in His own image and looks on us with joy.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27).
God knows us, before we were even born.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you … (Jeremiah 1:5).
He cares for us more than we can imagine.
See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands (Isaiah 49:16).
He is so concerned about you that He has even numbered the hairs on your head.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30).
God is always thinking about us.
How precious also are your thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them (Psalms 139:17).
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told (Psalm 40:5).
God directs a love toward us that is greater than we can comprehend. It is hard to believe in God and His promises until we first learn just how much God truly loves us.
And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not (1 John 3:1).
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:6-
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (Ephesians 2:4-
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-
God so loves you that He says that He will always be with you.
Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
God wants to give us good gifts, but in this sinful world, bad things happen to us that are not God’s will.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him (Matthew 7:9-
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things (Romans 8:32)?
they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing (Psalms 34:10).
How great is the goodness that you’ve reserved for those who honor you (Psalms 31:19).
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32).
God looks upon His children as loved ones that are part of Jesus.
You are a new creation in Him.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come (2 Cor. 5:17).
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18).
And to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24).
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8).
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).
Now if we are children, then we are heirs-
Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12-
For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy (Hebrews 10:14).
We are His righteousness.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
But even the hairs of your head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30).
You are a child of God.
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12).
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight (Ephesians 1:4).
"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:17-
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are (1 John 3:1).
God created us in His image, having known us before we where even formed. His thoughts are always toward us and His love is always with us. His love for us is beyond our comprehension and He says that He will never leave us. In His great love, He has saved us, cleansed us from all sin and made us sons of God and heirs through Christ Jesus.
I find it such a joy when I remember that I am God’s son.
We are more than conquerors, we are a royal priesthood in Jesus. You are a new creation, made righteous and holy. Before the creation of the world He designed you to be holy and blameless in His sight.
How does God see you, as His beloved. As His son or daughter, completely cleansed of all confessed sins. Forgiven and pure in His sight. Put those things that are behind you behind you and move with Jesus into the future. The above scripture is true and applies to you. Believe it and receive it.
