Asking in Prayer


Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:7).


Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:17-18).


He will call on me, and I will answer him (Psalm 91:15).


“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people (Acts 2:17).


But covet earnestly the best gifts: and you I will show you a more excellent way (1 Corinthians 12:31).


Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:39).


Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy (1 Corinthians 14:1).


Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant (1 Corinthians 12:1).


So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).


God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders and with divers miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will (Hebrews 2:4).


Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; 20 do not treat prophecies with contempt (1 Thessalonians 5:19-20).


We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith (Romans 12:6).


Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10).


But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:14).


This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words (1 Corinthians 2:13)?


“According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:29).


For we live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).


Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10-11).


But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).


To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10).


So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:11-12).
