Angel verses



Asking in Prayer


For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).


Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14)?


Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares (Hebrews 13:2).


The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them (Psalm 34:7).


Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him” (Matthew 2:13).


Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God” (Revelation 19:10).


And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matthew 24:31).

 

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 18:10).


For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship (Acts 27:23).


Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:10).


Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared (Exodus 23:20).


But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out (Acts 5:19).

 

The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers (Matthew 13:41).

“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24:36).


Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels (Matthew 26:53)?


But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20).


In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, doing nothing from partiality (1 Timothy 5:21).


You who received the law as delivered by angels and did not keep it (Acts 7:53).


Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last (Acts 12:23).


For it is written, He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you (Luke 4:10).

 

And that night the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies (2 Kings 19:35).


The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John (Revelation 1:1).


And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man” (John 1:51).


And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it, but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he relented from the calamity. And he said to the angel who was working destruction, “It is enough; now stay your hand.” (1 Chronicles 21:15).


Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away (Psalm 35:5).

 

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you (Colossians 2:18).


And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet (John 20:12).

 

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying (Luke 2:13).


 

And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven (Mark 13:27).


And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him (Mark 1:13).


So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous (Matthew 13:49).
