Asking in Prayer
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see ( Hebrews 11:1).
Jesus looked at them and said, … with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 ).
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done (Matthew 21:21).
And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith (Matthew 13:58).
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered (Mark 11:22).
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith” (Luke 17:5).
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you” (Luke 17:6).
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:17).
This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe (Romans 3:22).
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened
in his faith and gave glory to God (Romans 4:20).
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved (Romans 10:10).
faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power (1 Corinthians 2:5).
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love (Galatians 5:6).
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
