Healing help verses

Asking in Prayer

There are many ways healing can be implemented, including, asking in prayer, operating in God’s authority, faith, obeying, God’s promises, following the Holy Spirit, and worship.

Asking in Prayer

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18).

They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well (Mark 16:18b).

and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick (Luke 9:2).

Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you” (Acts 9:34).

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him (Acts 10:38).

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13).

Having a strong faith is central to all forms of prayer.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment (Matthew 8:13).

He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health (Matthew 9:22).

Holy Spirit

Jesus ministry was one of being directed by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of His ministry.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20).

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing [through the Holy Spirit]. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise (John 5:19). Following the Holy Spirit as Jesus did is the greatest form of prayer.

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also (1 Corinthians 14:15).

I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered (Psalm 89:34).
