Overcoming fear verses



Asking in Prayer


Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).


Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me (Psalm 23:4).


The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?(Psalms 27:1).


When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him (Psalm 91:15).


Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress (Psalm 107:19).


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7).


Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe (Proverbs 29:25).


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction (Isaiah 35:4).


Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness (Isaiah 41:10).


it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you” (Isaiah 41:13b).


Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34).


Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father knowing (Matthew 10:29-31).


Jesus told him,”Don’t be afraid; just believe” (Mark 5:36).


These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).


For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8:15).


For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).


Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident (1 Corinthians 14:33).


do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).


For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).


Humble yourselves, then, under God’s mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time.  Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:6-7).


Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world (1 John 4:1).


There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18).


And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11).
