Who Am I In Christ?
Question: “Who am I in Christ?”
To truly be in unison with God, you need to know who God is, and you need to know who you are in Christ.
Meditating on the following list of scriptures will provide the needed insight into who you are in Christ.
For I am forgiven of all my sins and washed in the Blood (Ephesians 1:7).
For I am now a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
For he will strengthen me and protect me from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
For apart from God I have no good thing (Psalm 16:2).
For my God will meet all my needs (but not necessarily all my wants)(Philippians 4:19).
For I delight in the Lord, and he will give me the desires of my heart (Psalm 37:4).
For I cast all my anxiety on him because he cares for me (1 Peter 5:7).
For I am redeemed from the curse of sin, sickness, and poverty (Galatians 3:13).
For God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
For I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ unto good works (Ephesians 2:10).
For I am a believer, and the light of the Gospel shines in my mind (2 Corinthians 4:4).
For I am healed by the stripes of Jesus (1 Peter 2:24).
For I am greatly loved by God (Romans 1:7; Ephesians 2:4; Colossians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 1:4).
For I am a joint-
For I am an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
For I am part of a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people (1 Peter 2:9).
For I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21).
For I am the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).
For I am free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).
For I am born of God, and the evil one does not touch me (1 John 5:18).
For I am holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4).
For I have the peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
For I can do all things through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:13).
For I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17).
For I am God’s child for I am born again of the incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23).
For I am the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).
For I know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28).
For I am firmly rooted, built up, established in my faith and overflowing with gratitude (Col 2:7).
For I am called of God to be the voice of His praise (2 Timothy 1:9).
For I am strengthened with all might according to His glorious power (Colossians 1:11).
For the devil flees from me because I resist him in the Name of Jesus (James 4:7).
For I do not have a spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
For I am alive because Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20).
For I am God's child (John 1:12).
For I am a friend of Jesus Christ (John 15:15).
For I am united with the Lord, and I am one with Him in spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).
For I have been bought with a price and I belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:19-
For I am a member of Christ's body. (1 Corinthians 12:27).
For I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins (Colossians 1:13-
For I have access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14-
For I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me (Philippians 1:6).
For I am a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20).
Who are you in God? As a Christian, you are all of the above verses and much more. If you are walking with the Lord, having forgiven those who have hurt you and confessing your sins but are not experiencing these promises, then start claiming them in faith. As a child of the Lord, you can run into God’s thrown room, call God Daddy, and crawl into His loving lap.
